Valentine's Day

This menu features foods from " A Sorcerer's Cookbook"  and the "Labito Cafe",  and ingredient  proven to be aphrodisiacs and sure to enhance the a night made for lovers!

For an additional $20 per person, select wine pairings offered per course, excluding the Amuse.

 

 

Amuse:   Smoked Oysters served on toast and topped with a light curry sauce, is a welcome offering from the Chef's de Cuisine.

Appetizer: Baked Brie topped with a spicy habanero peach jam.

Wine Recommendation: Foris Gewürztraminer

Soup du JourHerb soup. A light broth gently simmered with fresh herbs, and finished with a garlic herb cheese crostini.

Wine Recommendation: La Playa Carmenera

Caesar: Watermelon and goat cheese salad finished with lemon and fresh mint.  

Wine Recommendation: Bollini Pinot Grigio

 

Entree's

Mushroom Linguini:  Tender linguini pasta sautéed with fresh herbs and mushroom then finished with light cream and pecorino Romano cheese.  

Wine Recommendation:  Bouchard & Fils  Pinot Noir

Stuffed Game Hen:  Wild rice and chestnut games hens finished with a raspberry and red wine sauce.

Fig Stuffed Pork Loin:  Pork tenderloin stuffed with figs then grilled and finished with an onion jam and served with new potatoes.

*Shelfish & Penne:   Mussels and Clams sautéed in a rich saffron sauce then tossed with penne pasta.

Steak Diane:  Done table side: Beef tenderloin grilled to order and finished with a brandy peppercorn sauce, served alongside new potatoes.
